Leading Hand / Machine Operator

Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand and Machine Operator to join a major recycling & manufacturing operation based in Archerfield. This site focuses on high-volume material processing, so we’re looking for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, safety-driven environments.

The Role:

You will assist with day-to-day operations including overseeing workflow on the ground, coordinating with the production team, and operating plant & machinery safely and efficiently (such as loaders, excavators, or crushing/processing equipment depending on experience).


We’re looking for candidates with:

* Experience in recycling, quarrying, construction, or heavy manufacturing
* Proven ability to lead a small team or step into a Leading Hand capacity
* Strong focus on safety and operational efficiency
* Loader, excavator or relevant machinery tickets (highly regarded)
* Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work in a busy production environment
